Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about care at Atlas Health & Wellness—our approach, services, insurance, and getting started.
Book a VisitWe believe you deserve to feel your best—and our care model is built for that. We offer longer visits, take the time to truly listen, and build every plan around your goals, symptoms, and lifestyle.
Instead of rushing you through a brief appointment, we look for the root cause of what you're experiencing and create a personalized plan to address it—so you feel heard, informed, and genuinely supported.
We combine root-cause, functional medicine principles with proven, evidence-based care. That means:
- Root-cause focus — looking beyond symptoms to hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle factors
- Comprehensive labs — testing that goes deeper than a standard panel, and looking beyond "normal" ranges
- Personalized plans — built around your body, your goals, and your timeline
The result is care that's practical, thorough, and tailored specifically to you.

The Atlas Intake Assessment—also called Atlas 70™—is our comprehensive starting point for new patients. It captures your history, symptoms, lifestyle, goals, and baseline biometrics, and produces a personalized roadmap for your care. Most new patients begin here so we can make the most of your time and build the right plan from day one.
Yes. Our aesthetics program includes injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, microneedling, and medical-grade skincare. Our licensed esthetician also offers brow services, lash lifts and tinting, facial waxing, and advanced Aura skin analysis. Book a consultation and we'll help you build the right plan for your goals.
Atlas Health & Wellness is a direct-care practice, which means we don't bill insurance for most services. This allows us to offer longer visits, personalized care, faster scheduling, and transparent pricing—without an insurance company between you and your care.
Yes. You can use your HSA or FSA card for eligible services and products.
Yes. We partner with Cherry to offer flexible payment plans, so you can spread the cost of your care over time. Financing is subject to approval, and terms, payment amounts, and any promotional APR offers may vary by applicant.
Yes. We offer membership and package options for ongoing support and value on services. Ask our team which option best fits your goals and the services you plan to use.
Comprehensive labs let us see the full picture—hormones, thyroid, metabolic markers, and more—so your plan is built on data, not guesswork. We often look beyond standard "normal" ranges to understand why you may still feel off even when basic labs come back "fine."
In some cases, lab orders can be routed through your insurance. However, every plan is different, and we cannot guarantee what your insurer will cover or apply to your deductible. It's your responsibility to verify coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs with your insurance company before having labs drawn. We're happy to discuss the most cost-effective option for your situation.
Often, yes. Completing labs before your visit can help us review results together and make the most of your appointment time. We'll let you know what's recommended based on your goals, and we can also order testing after your visit if you prefer.
Yes. We offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for women—including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone when clinically appropriate—using formulations tailored to your needs. We evaluate your symptoms and labs to build a personalized hormone plan.
Yes. We provide clinician-supervised TRT for men, with lab monitoring and individualized dosing. Beyond TRT, our men's program includes broader hormone optimization, thyroid support, sexual health, and performance optimization.
Our medical weight loss program is personalized and clinician-led. It often begins with an InBody body composition scan and appropriate lab work, and may include GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide or tirzepatide), metabolic support, and nutrition guidance. The goal is sustainable results with preserved lean muscle—not crash dieting.
We commonly help with perimenopause and menopause, low testosterone, thyroid concerns (including Hashimoto's), weight-loss resistance, hormone imbalance, low energy and fatigue, brain fog, sleep issues, low libido, sexual health concerns, and more—along with aesthetic and body-contouring goals.
