How Can We Help?
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about care at Atlas Health & Wellness—our approach, services, insurance, and getting started.
Book a VisitOur Approach
What makes Atlas Health & Wellness different?
We believe you deserve to feel your best—and our care model is built for that. We offer longer visits, take the time to truly listen, and build every plan around your goals, symptoms, and lifestyle.
Instead of rushing you through a brief appointment, we look for the root cause of what you're experiencing and create a personalized plan to address it—so you feel heard, informed, and genuinely supported.
What is your approach to care?
We combine root-cause, functional medicine principles with proven, evidence-based care. That means:
- Root-cause focus — looking beyond symptoms to hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle factors
- Comprehensive labs — testing that goes deeper than a standard panel, and looking beyond "normal" ranges
- Personalized plans — built around your body, your goals, and your timeline
The result is care that's practical, thorough, and tailored specifically to you. Most patients begin with the Atlas70™ Experience.
Will I still need a primary care provider?
Yes. Atlas complements—rather than replaces—your primary care provider. You'll still see your PCP for acute illness, preventive screenings, and urgent care. We focus on the specialized areas of hormones, weight, metabolic health, aesthetics, and wellness.
Our Services
What is the Atlas70™ Experience?
The Atlas70™ is our comprehensive starting point for personalized care at Atlas Health + Wellness. It's a two-part experience designed to help us understand what's happening throughout your body, connect the dots between your symptoms and your health data, and build a clear plan for what comes next.
Part 1: The Assessment
We start with our comprehensive Atlas70™ lab panel, which evaluates 70+ biomarkers across hormones, thyroid function, metabolism, insulin and cardiovascular risk, inflammation, nutrients, stress response, and more. Instead of looking at a handful of isolated lab values, we establish a detailed baseline of how your body's systems are working together.
Part 2: The Consultation
Once your results are available, you'll meet with your Atlas clinician for an in-depth consultation. We review your labs alongside your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and goals to identify what may be driving the way you feel.
From there, we create your personalized 6–12 month health roadmap, which may include recommendations for medications, hormone or thyroid optimization, supplements, nutrition, sleep, stress, metabolic health, weight management, or other therapies when appropriate.
The Atlas70™ is more than a lab panel or a lab-review appointment. It's how we replace guesswork with data, connect the dots, and give you a clear path forward. Learn more about getting started →

Insurance & Payments
Do you take insurance?
Atlas Health & Wellness is a direct-care practice, which means we don't bill insurance for most services. This allows us to offer longer visits, personalized care, faster scheduling, and transparent pricing—without an insurance company between you and your care.
Can you create a superbill?
Absolutely! After your visit, we can provide a detailed superbill with all the necessary billing codes so you can submit a claim to your insurance company. Please note that most insurance plans do not reimburse for menopause care or medical weight loss services, though some may allow you to apply these out-of-pocket expenses toward your deductible.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. You can use your HSA or FSA card for eligible services and products.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. We partner with Cherry to offer flexible payment plans, so you can spread the cost of your care over time. Financing is subject to approval, and terms, payment amounts, and any promotional APR offers may vary by applicant. See payment plan options →
Do you offer memberships?
Yes. We offer membership and package options for ongoing support and value on services. Ask our team which option best fits your goals and the services you plan to use.
Labs & Testing
Why does Atlas use comprehensive lab testing?
Comprehensive labs let us see the full picture—hormones, thyroid, metabolic markers, and more—so your plan is built on data, not guesswork. We often look beyond standard "normal" ranges to understand why you may still feel off even when basic labs come back "fine."
Can I use my insurance for my labs?
The initial Atlas70™ labs are included as part of your complete Atlas70™ Experience and are provided at our cost. Because these labs are bundled into the Atlas70™, they are not billed through insurance.
After your Atlas70™, if you choose to continue care through an Atlas membership, future lab orders may be able to be routed through your insurance. We can provide you with a lab requisition to take to a local lab of your choice that accepts your insurance.
Every insurance plan is different, and we cannot guarantee which labs your insurer will cover, what they may apply toward your deductible, or what your out-of-pocket cost may be. It is your responsibility to verify coverage and potential costs with your insurance company before having labs drawn.
We're always happy to discuss your options and help you determine the most cost-effective approach for your ongoing lab work.
What if I just had my labs drawn?
If you've recently had lab work completed, bring it with you! We're happy to review your results, and they can provide valuable additional insight into your health history.
However, the initial Atlas70™ lab panel is intentionally comprehensive and standardized so that your Atlas clinician has the complete information needed for your Assessment and Consultation. Most routine or annual lab panels do not include all of the biomarkers we evaluate as part of the Atlas70™.
Because your Atlas70™ labs are already included in the cost of the experience, having recent labs does not change the price of your Atlas70™.
That said, we don't believe in unnecessary testing. If there are unique circumstances surrounding very recent or extensive lab work, please let our team know so we can determine the best approach for your situation.
Hormone & Weight Care
Do you offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)?
Yes. We offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for women—including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone when clinically appropriate—using formulations tailored to your needs. We evaluate your symptoms and labs to build a personalized hormone plan. Learn more about BHRT →
Do you offer testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for men?
Yes. We provide clinician-supervised TRT for men, with lab monitoring and individualized dosing. Beyond TRT, our men's program includes broader hormone optimization, thyroid support, sexual health, and performance optimization. Learn more about TRT →
How does medical weight loss at Atlas work?
Our medical weight loss program is personalized and clinician-led. It often begins with an InBody body composition scan and appropriate lab work, and may include GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide or tirzepatide), metabolic support, and nutrition guidance. The goal is sustainable results with preserved lean muscle—not crash dieting.
